College Football
For Jack McLiney, Saturdays in the fall are reserved for watching college football. One of his favorite teams to watch is the Alabama Crimson Tide, one of the most decorated and storied football programs in the history of the NCAA. He also enjoys watching Kansas as well as the TCU Horned Frogs, both members of the Big 12 Conference in the NCAA.
NFL Football
While the Kansas City Chiefs are his favorite team, Jack McLiney is a big fan of Carolina Panthers quarterback, Cam Newton. Cam Newton is an inspirational leader with a loud and strong personality. He is well known for giving away footballs to kids in the stands after scoring a touchdown. He is also dedicated to his team and is always working hard both on and off the field.
NBA Basketball
The San Antonio Spurs are Jack McLiney’s favorite basketball team. His favorite players on the Spurs are Tim Duncan and Kawhi Leonard. Tim Duncan has played with the Spurs his entire career. He is considered one of the greatest power forwards in the history of the NBA. In 2014, Kawhi Leonard was named Most Valuable Player in the NBA Finals. The following year, he was crowned NBA Defensive Player of the year. Although the Cleveland Cavaliers have yet to win an NBA championship, Jack McLiney still enjoys watching the team as it features many big NBA stars including LeBron James and Kyrie Irving.
